Self-Love & Acceptance: The Hardest but Most Beautiful Gift
Self-love and acceptance are one of the hardest things to cultivate, but they are also one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. I know this because I’ve lived it. I have been in recovery with my eating disorder for over 20 years. I hit rock bottom during my active ED stage. I have fought to live in the light instead of being consumed by the darkness. I truly understand what it feels like to live with an eating disorder. And now, I share my story to help others who are struggling, because no one should have to fight this battle alone.
Breaking Free from Body Dysmorphia & Self-Doubt
In addition to my ED, I also live with body dysmorphia disorder (BDD). I have spent so much of my life preoccupied with my body image that I’ve truly missed out on living. My self-worth has been dictated by my perception of my appearance, instead of embracing all the beautiful qualities that make me, me. But I am done letting my BDD mindset tell me I’m not good enough. I refuse to look back on my life with regret. I refuse to let my insecurities control my happiness. I want my life to be filled with joy, confidence, and, most importantly... self-love.
The Commitment to Healing
Challenging an eating disorder brain or body dysmorphia mindset is not a one-time fix. It’s an ongoing practice. It’s a daily commitment. It’s a battle, but one that is absolutely worth fighting. I have dedicated my life to helping others step into their own light, to see the beauty that exists in them beyond their reflection.
Join Me & Let Your True Light Shine
If you’re tired of hating your body and letting your insecurities control your life, then I invite you to join me for one of my workshops.
Together, we will learn how to challenge negative self-talk. Together, we will build self-worth beyond appearance.
Together, we will find joy, confidence, and self-love.
It’s time to see yourself the way the world sees you.
It’s time to recognize your beauty... inside and out. ✨
This interactive workshop is designed to challenge the body dysmorphia mindset by actively promoting and practicing positive body image and self-esteem. Through guided discussions, hands-on exercises, and self-reflective activities, we
will work on recognizing and counteracting negative thought patterns and replacing dysfunctional behaviors
with healthier, more
empowering strategies.
Together, we will develop practical coping mechanisms, cultivate positive self-talk, and reframe the way we see ourselves, shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion. This is about more than just changing thoughts; it’s about fostering a mindset rooted in self-love, acceptance,
and confidence.
It’s time to break down the negativity and reclaim the kindness we so readily give to others… for ourselves.
Because you are worthy.
You always have been.

The objective of this workshop
is to foster empathy and
deepen understanding by
offering an intimate, unfiltered look into the mindset of someone living with an eating disorder. Participants will gain a rare inside perspective on the thoughts, emotions, and daily behaviors shaped by ED, insights that often go unseen or misunderstood.
Together, we will explore the complexities of disordered eating, including common triggers, the hidden rituals and masking behaviors that accompany ED,
and the internal battle between
restriction and recovery. Most importantly, we will discuss tangible coping mechanisms, strategies that have genuinely helped those of us
navigating this journey.
This workshop is not just about awareness; it’s about connection, breaking down stigma, and equipping participants with
the tools to offer meaningful
support to others and,
perhaps, to themselves.
This workshop is built on my personal journey, a firsthand account of what it truly means to live with an eating disorder.

Attending the Embrace Your Reflection workshop was a truly transformative experience. From the moment we began, Jody, our facilitator, created a warm and welcoming space where everyone felt seen, valued, and encouraged. Her openness and exceptional communication made it easy to connect, reflect, and grow.
The workshop itself was a powerful journey of self-discovery and self-love. Through positive self-talk exercises, a “Who Am I” reflection, and a moving mirror activity, I gained a deeper appreciation for myself. The yoga session and cold plunge were both invigorating and grounding, while the compliment walk fostered connection and joy.
By the end of the workshop, I felt rejuvenated, uplifted, and less alone. It was a beautiful reminder of the power of self-acceptance and community. I highly recommend Embrace Your Reflection to anyone looking for a meaningful and empowering experience!
