I’ve spent so much of my life preoccupied with my body image that I missed out on truly living. My self worth has been based on my perception of my appearance instead of acknowledging all the other beautiful qualities that make me, me.
I’m tired of my body dysmorphia mindset telling me I’m not good enough. I’m done living my life that way. Moving forward I’m choosing self love and acceptance.
Counteracting our negative self talk is an ongoing practice, it’s a commitment, but it’s so worth it. I don’t want to look back on my life filled with regrets because I let my insecurities control my life. Instead, I want my life to be filled with joy, confidence and most importantly love for myself.

Attending the Embrace Your Reflection workshop was a truly transformative experience. From the moment we began, Jody, our facilitator, created a warm and welcoming space where everyone felt seen, valued, and encouraged. Her openness and exceptional communication made it easy to connect, reflect, and grow.
The workshop itself was a powerful journey of self-discovery and self-love. Through positive self-talk exercises, a “Who Am I” reflection, and a moving mirror activity, I gained a deeper appreciation for myself. The yoga session and cold plunge were both invigorating and grounding, while the compliment walk fostered connection and joy.
